“Federal Contract to “Stimulate” Hiring at a Washington-D.C.-based Business”

Washington, DC (MMD Newswire) February 6, 2009 — The U.S. Department of the Army announced Friday that Lawrence Executive Alliance of Professionals (LEAP) was awarded a nearly 2 million dollar contract to provide emergency medical services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Despite the grim odds, the award represents LEAP’s second contract valued at over 1 million since the first of the year. Accordingly, the business will hire another 8-10 employees in very short order.

“The plummeting economy and staggering unemployment rates have given urgency to my goals and my commitment to hire District residents,” said LEAP’s founder, Dr. Clayton Lawrence. The Harvard-trained physician and Veteran of the Gulf War is quickly assembling metropolitan Washington’s premiere medical staffing company. After only a year in business, the booming small company has hired more than 20 employees.

In celebration of Black History Month, the company will host a reception at the Washington Ritz Carlton on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 8pm. Please email clawrence@leap4staffing.com for reservations.
